With multiple successful business exits—including an IPO, acquisition, merger, and employee sale—Michael’s methodology is straightforward: build strong, efficient operations; create replicable and scalable business development systems; and maximize profitability and enterprise value at exit.
Michael began his career with major financial institutions, analyzing and underwriting businesses and investment opportunities before becoming an entrepreneur himself. As a business owner, he quickly discovered a fundamental problem: while there was no shortage of advice on starting or growing a business, there was no single, comprehensive playbook for actually operating one successfully.
That realization led Michael to extensively study the business consulting industry, examining leading methodologies, systems, and programs to identify the practices that consistently produced results. He combined the strongest elements into his own practical operating methodology—the foundation of Zanetti Consulting.
Today, Michael applies a kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement, constantly evaluating new strategies, technologies, software, and operating systems to keep Zanetti Consulting—and its clients—at the forefront of their industries.
He has also assembled a network of accomplished strategic advisors and specialized professionals whose expertise can be leveraged as needed, giving clients access to a broad range of high-level capabilities through a single relationship.
The result is a consulting philosophy focused not simply on advice, but on building better businesses: cleaner operations, scalable growth, greater profitability, and ultimately, more valuable exits.
Outside of business, Michael spends most of his time with his family—preferably somewhere on, in, or near the ocean.

Alex GIAMPIETRO
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Alex Giampietro brings more than 30 years of experience in construction, hospitality, and real estate development across New York and South Florida. He has managed multi-million-dollar commercial, residential, and hospitality projects from acquisition and feasibility through construction and operational launch, specializing in design-build oversight, budgeting, scheduling, and operational execution.
In addition to his development background, Alex has owned and operated restaurants and nightclubs, giving him firsthand expertise in customer experience, branding, operational performance, and revenue-driven management. He has also worked extensively in business development, investor relations, sales, and marketing, helping position projects for growth and profitability.
A former licensed General Contractor and Master Plumber, Alex has also served as an expert witness in construction-related disputes, strengthening his expertise in risk management and project oversight. He joined Zanetti Consulting to expand its construction, hospitality, and development advisory services, focusing on disciplined execution, operational alignment, and protecting investor capital.
Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Adelphi University.
